Business, Marketing, and Management in Europe

Each year, this month-long program features a different business course, focusing on a different topic, ranging from economics to accounting, marketing, and management. On-site teaching is a collaboration between visiting Purdue faculty and local faculty, who lead one course each. In-class learning is supplemented with a visit to a local business that matches the program’s learning goals. Purdue builds from this successful program model, pairing different campus courses and locations each year to meet the specific curricular needs of business majors. This flexible program model has also allowed the university to scale its offerings over time—combining cities and adjusting the number of programs each summer based on student and faculty interest, with as many as five distinct programs running in a single year.
Intensive Learning
To make the most of their time abroad, students take two two-week intensive courses in succession, each providing 3 credits. Academic content is supplemented with cultural experiences and day-long excursions outside the host city.
