Global Perspectives in Healthcare in Italy

Florence, Rome
The Texas Christian University Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences and College of Science and Engineering partner with Accent in this program, presenting a global perspective on healthcare.

Thanks to its comprehensive approach to healthcare, the program appeals to students in all aspects of health, from human biology to nursing, psychology, and neuroscience.

In-class teaching by accompanying TCU faculty is complemented by topical, experiential learning activities. Students visit private hospitals, free clinics, and mental health centers, and meet with doctors, health administrators, and volunteers. All on-site activities match the learning goals of the course syllabus and are the result of close collaboration between faculty and Accent staff.

Simultaneous Cohorts

The three-week program is split between Florence and Rome, with two groups of students spending 10 days in each city. Each cohort of 20-24 students starts the program in a different city.
