Rome
Accent partners with faculty from East Tennessee State University to develop and deliver this summer program, open exclusively to architecture and interior design majors.

This six-week-long program includes 90 hours of classroom instruction, delivered by two ETSU faculty. The course is articulated in four interrelated sections:

  • Architectural History
  • Global Sustainability
  • Senior Design Studio
  • Made in Italy Design

Historical Perspective

To complement in-class learning, every day of the program includes on-site visits as well. Under the direction of both ETSU and local faculty, students explore the history of architecture in Rome, the contemporary design scene, and recent innovations in sustainability and structural engineering.
