Let us design courses for specific student cohorts following development timelines and processes established to meet your campus’ requirements. All Accent faculty hold degrees from highly-regarded U.S. and local universities and are long-term residents of their host countries with extensive local networks. Our faculty bring experience developing courses and teaching for the education abroad classroom. They are experts at incorporating their host city into each course through guest speakers, on-site lectures, museums, monuments, companies, and NGOs. Our well-staffed Study Centers in Paris, Florence, London, Madrid, Rome, and a Center for Field Studies in Sicily make a big difference to partners. More than an outpost, Accent Study Centers create a substantial institutional presence for your students and faculty in program cities. Each Study Center is its own thriving, intercultural and academic community giving your students true integration into their host country. Ideally located, Study Centers provide each program with a home base including classrooms of various sizes, administrative support, technology, and libraries. We are currently planning new Study Centers for other academically notable European cities.

Our U.S. team adapts our pre-departure service to complement the goals and capacity of your office, supporting student recruitment and orientation, fee collection, and pre-departure communication.

Over 30 years of experience and partnership with colleges and universities have made us a leader in health and safety best practices. We have close contact with the U.S. embassies and consulates with established contingency plans for major security concerns. Students have access to a 24/7 emergency phone number, a network of on-call doctors and English-speaking specialists, and a 24/7 mental health support service offering phone consultations and referrals to in-person psychologists and psychiatrists. The Accent team is in daily contact with students for personalized support and close monitoring of group dynamics. Students report independent travel outside the host-city and can be reached immediately by Accent should an emergency take place in the city to which they are traveling.
