System-wide Innovation
These programs are based at our Study Centers in Paris, Florence, London, Madrid, Rome and Sicily and each attracts between 50 and 150 students throughout the University of California system.
Customized Impact
Highly experiential, the curricula are enriched with site visits and on-location lectures in host cities along with service learning, evening lectures, and cultural activities including cooking classes, film screenings, and exchanges with local university students.
Accelerated Language Study
In many programs, students may also enroll in intensive language tracks to complete multiple semesters of language study while abroad, as well as core courses in the humanities and social sciences. Students in Florence, Rome, and London can also earn academic credit for internships.
UC’s portfolio of quarter and semester programs in all cities is open to partnership with select U.S. universities for cohorts of 8-20 students.
