Alumni Network Plus Accent

Colgate’s London Economics Study Group is a semester program combining courses taught by Colgate faculty and local faculty with an internship component. The program is designed to integrate students’ learning of advanced economics principles in the British and European context while also developing their personal career objectives.

Rotating Specialties
Colgate’s Economics faculty share the program’s directorship transferring leadership each year. Rotating directors reframe the program through their specialty and vision. Colgate’s faculty directors can call on Accent’s network of local experts and faculty to help tailor the program to that year’s focus.

Maximizing the Alumni Network
Accent leads the program’s internship component drawing from both its own network as well as working with Colgate’s London alumni. Internship placements have included economic think tanks, consulting agencies, NGOs and community associations, tech startups, and financial services companies.
